If you've ever visited my Teaching Resources website, you'll know that it's easy to get lost in the pages and pages of free resources, classroom management strategies, Literature Circle book recommendations, and more! I taught upper elementary students for 30 years, and my website is a composite of all of the strategies I learned, tweaked, and implemented during that time. I've had so much fun adding new materials over the years! The only problem is that there are so many resources on my site that it can be difficult to find what you what you need quickly. Let me share a few strategies that might help you navigate LauraCandler.com:Navigation Bar - Click on the white torn paper navigation bar across the top of Teaching Resources to go to any of the four main sections: File Cabinet, Strategies, Laura's Books, and Workshops. From there you can click on individual folders to visit categories and pages on the site.
Search Feature - Type your topic into the green search box that appears just under the white navigation bar. Click Search to see what's available on LauraCandler.com on that topic.
LauraCandler.com Shortcuts - One of the easiest ways to navigate the Teaching Resources website is to use my newest Pinterest board. I've been creating pins for every major part of my website, and I've gathered all of them on my LauraCandler.com Shortcuts board. Just click the image on the right, find the yellow LauraCandler.com shortcuts pin on this board and repin it to one of your own boards. When you are looking for a specific page on my site, you can find a link to it by clicking on the LauraCandler.com Shortcuts Pinterest board. It's a visual archive of Teaching Resources, and following this board is a great way to find out about anything new I add to my website.I love sharing resources with teachers, and over the years I've created quite a collection on my website. I hope that one of these methods will help you navigate Teaching Resources so that you can find just what you need, quickly and easily. Enjoy!
